Product Overview

The Inserted Socket Fixing Plate Neodymium Magnet with Thread Rod, also known as inserted socket magnet, bushing fixing magnet, or concrete insert magnet, is a high-performance magnetic assembly specifically engineered for the precast concrete construction industry.

This magnetic assembly consists of a strong neodymium (NdFeB) ring magnet, a durable steel casing (armature), and a thread rod. The steel casing not only protects the fragile neodymium magnet from external damage but also concentrates its magnetic force onto the contact surface, generating significantly higher holding power than a bare neodymium magnet. The assembly is available with either a threaded hole cup magnet for direct bolt-in installation or a separable external thread rod, offering flexible fastening options.

The inserted socket magnet is designed to fasten embedded components precisely and reliably in precast concrete elements, including electric sockets, threaded sleeves, weld-on plates, anchor channels, and lifting or connecting sockets. By securely holding these components in place during the concrete pouring process, the magnet prevents shifting, sliding, or displacement caused by concrete flow. The result is consistently accurate positioning of all embedded parts within finished concrete panels, eliminating the costly rework that plagues unreliable fixing methods.

Key Features

  • Three-Component Design – Composed of neodymium ring magnet, steel casing, and threaded rod; delivers strong, concentrated holding force.

  • Multi-Layer Corrosion Protection – Neodymium magnet coated with Ni-Cu-Ni (triple-layer nickel-copper-nickel) treatment; steel armature with zinc coating; thread rod with black epoxy coating.

  • High Holding Capacity – Magnetic force ranging from 4 kg up to 70 kg (and beyond) to steadily secure steel structures, PVC pipes, and embedded inserts.

  • Standard Operating Temperature – Rated for working temperatures up to 80°C (176°F).

  • Simple Installation and Removal – Easy to install with PVC pipe on concrete formwork; removable with standard hexagon tool after concrete curing.

  • Fully Customizable – Magnetic force, dimensions, thread specifications, and coatings can be tailored to specific customer requirements.

Applications

The inserted socket fixing magnet is widely used in the precast concrete (PC) industry for the production of concrete panels, slabs, and elements, including:

  • Holding electrical socket boxes precisely in position during concrete pouring to ensure they remain perfectly aligned without floating

  • Securing threaded sleeves and connection sockets for post-installed mechanical connections

  • Fixing anchor channels and weld-on plates required for structural connections

  • Forming pipe openings and recesses by positioning PVC pipes without leakage or shifting

  • Positioning lifting sockets used for handling and transporting heavy precast components

Beyond the PC industry, the versatile design makes this magnetic bushing assembly equally suitable for metalworking jigs, lighting and signage mounting, cabinet and exhibition construction, industrial equipment fixing, and heavy object retention.

Why Choose the Inserted Socket Fixing Magnet?

Traditional fixing methods such as adhesives, mechanical clamps, or manual positioning often fail due to the weight and fluid pressure of wet concrete, causing components to shift unpredictably. The inserted socket fixing magnet solves this problem at its source. The magnet instantly adheres to the steel formwork, holding the embedded component exactly where it needs to be throughout the entire concrete pouring and vibration process. Once the concrete has cured, a simple turn with a hexagon tool releases the magnet for immediate reuse. This reusability delivers significant cost savings over time compared to single-use fixtures. The result is higher productivity, less rework, and a more consistent finished product.
